He is......more than you know hahaha.
Afternoon all! If you are in memphis area, do not go towards midtown/downtown tonight......as we are having our midnight classic bike ride and roads will be shut down for cyclists hehe. From 2200-0200 in the morning.

Sorry, now as I was saying...

I got my workout in today with several chainsaws a stout chain, and a hella garden tractor.
But two of the logs just won't budge yet

Make that three - the original problem I deferred until I finished off a long standing one
(Or would that be laying down?)

Thank the Lord we are safe in Tennessee. Irene is definitely bringing a woman's scorn to the east coast. Let's keep our neighbors in the Carolinas, Virginia, and yes, even them yankees up north, in our prayers!!

One must always have plenty of "HOPS" my dear - as well as full carbonation and a frosty mug

I FINALLY got my dang engine home... Here it is on the 'hook', pristine clean and all set to go into a "Mean Machine"

Not at all what I was expecting, this mill is obviously and definitely as fresh as a spring breeze!

I dunno what it was let out to (375, 408...) or the cam spec. But that intake looks like a torker or something. (Edelbrock or holley)
I barely got it in the shop and had to close the doors for the night.

~Still, it's amazing what you can find if you hang around the right Taco stand...

News:

Oh my goodness! (I couldn't stand it anymore, so I went out and really looked at it)

The Intake?

It's a painted over aluminum Edelbrock "Performer 351-W" dualplane........

Specifically for that engine.

I bet it's collectable!

I'm going to work with one of our FTE sponsors (AutoShepherd) to see about all the rest of the stuff I need.
~I think.... A 650 CFM isn't going to cover this. 700 or 750 is a better bet.

I have no idea what it can gulp once it gets into it's power band.
