Here's a little fun!

Here is what a bored man does with his time. I worked at getting this rig in the truck. Had to build a "deck" inside box to raise floor to wheel well height. Then worked to see if rig would fit. It won't go by about an inch! The lower faring in the Goldwing gets caught by about an inch and that was trying to load out of my garage. I have a few more ideas. I will get that thing in there and it will go with us on vacations! Wish me luck!

Just a thought, build the deck to the same height as the top of the box. I know that would give you more wind resistance but the bike would fit with no constrictions on the width. Then you could store stuff under the deck. Just can't separate boys and their toys....

I like Mark's idea. Gives you some storage then. No way to easily take that fairing off.

just a thought

if handy with a welder, i'd fab up a metal skeleton frame, so it can withhold the "raised" floor, since you cannot support the wait on the wheel wells anymore. Using the 6 holes already in the bed, for a 5th hitch, run your supports length off those, then build out/up from them....? With the floor being a tad higher then the wells.
