ok, so i have the engine and everything squared away. now i think all i have to do is repair the rust and im ready to prepair for paint.
can't work on the rust though till grandpa finishes his kitchen (fall-winter time) what should i do in the mean time...hmmm.
im trying to decide to cut out the floor of the bed like ive seen many other people do to lighten the truck but i might use the bed on occasion. and ideas on making the first ever removeable bedfloor?!?!
engine is perfect. could use a cleaning and paint. do need to work on suspension but not going to bother with that until cab mounts and floors are welded in. body will be done when the cab mounts and floors are being welded. interior is just about perfect but the dash bezel is plastic and broke. not paying 175 for a new one from my auto place so im calling up yards.
for the bed idea i was thinking about cutting the bed out and making a 1 1/2 inch lip from where i cut it out from and then when i want the bed in the i can just lay it in and bolt it down. any better ideas?
