If you are looking for a 215 straight 6 I have one that came out of a 53.

I have one out of a 53 as well, but fifty-two_f1 is closer to you.

Not sure what you mean 52 is closer? So you have a complete motor ? Have you had it apart or know anything about it? When is the last time it was running? How much is it and then how much is shipping? Thanks Bob

I am far from any kind of expert on the 215, had one in an old roadster built from spare parts. However, the point of my reply is that the 215 became the 223 in 55 (or around there) and is much more popular than the 215. You could use your 215 external pieces on a 223 and it should work. 223 is going to be lot easier to find.

The distributor is in a different location on a 215 than on a 223.

I'm in the process of getting my 215 rebuilt. The machine shop just called me and said that the crankshaft is cracked. Luckily, I have one that's already out and another one in a parts motor. Both of them could very well be cracked as well. Won't know until they magnaflux them.

I should have stripped another parts motor that I took to the recycler a few weeks ago, but who knew at that time....

Is this the same shop that did your carbs? I am getting the idea they just want to charge you to do another magnaflux. I have never seen a crank in a 215 crack....... but there is a first for everything

No. It's a different shop. It's an engine machine shop. It's cracked in one journal. I've searched online and found that it's common for the crank to crack in the journals.
