I have a 2006 F250. 105k miles on the truck.I drove it 500 miles and it did fine. Let it cool down and then sit overnight. I crunk it up and tried to drive it and it died and idling was rough. I have a bully dog triple pup installed and it showed DTC P0277 and P0278 on the display. Something to do with cylinder and injector 6, high circuit or something. Drove it 500 miles home. Under powered and shaking on acceleration. FICM checked out yesterday and it is putting out 48.2 volts while running. Been told it could be injector but #6 injector changed 5k miles ago. Also, could be the injector wiring harness. Any help or ideas would be great.
Yeah FICM was checked when ignition was on with 48 volts, and the same when it was running. Any ideas how i can test the coil or figure out its the harness or an injector?
It was replaced under warranty by the Ford dealership, so there is no telling if it was done correctly or not. I will try the wiring and then injector and see what happens. I believe it is time to swap over to Chevy or Dodge, they don't really seem to have the problems the 6.0 does. Mine has been in the shop a lot for a 50k truck.
