Angry Brakes frustration

Well, I ordered a brake line set from inline tube. I ordered a set for a 76 because I thought the only difference between my truck and a 76 was the disk brakes but i guess i was wrong??? everything is different. Even on the rear axle. The short side is to short and the long side is to long. On my 73 the front lines have to go through the frame in the middle of the engine perch. Can someone that has a 76 tell me if yours is the same way?? I mean i cant believe it would be that different untill after 77.5

Why are you buying pre made brake lines?!
Buy a flaring tool and some line with fittings and build it yourself.
Either buy a bulk roll or measure your line you need and get a premade one that's a little too long and just cut and flare to length.

For connecting lines use a flared union and extend it. Ford fitting sizes are usually 3/8 or 7/16

My inline part numbers for my 73 were as follows. Also this was with a D60 setup, but should not matter.

SFRB7141...1973 4WD with power disc set.

I used Inline's braided flex lines and everything worked out great.

(edit) I did have 1 short piece about 8" long that was extra

Maybe they messed up?????? And is that a 79 frame? I just don't get it... you see where the brake goes through the front in the frame? They won't even go through that.

I'm pretty sure I called and told them it was for a 73. That is what is on my invoice. 73 frame.
