Carter P4070 is a good proven electric pump and just installed one on my new project. That said, nothing at all wrong with a stock replacement pump. The only reason I used the electric is the engine was built for another vehicle and the eccentric was not installed. No room for mechanical pump on original project. Builder should have put it on anyway.
