I'm looking for suggestions for a steering stabilizer for the truck in my sig. Running 31X10.5's. Thinking a single shock settup is adequate. What's the best place to buy?
I think mine is a Rancho. It says Series E on it and is white with red letters and a red boot. It matched the shocks which I know are Rancho.
I don't know how they rate compared to others, but mine has worked great for me. It' son a 78 F150 460/4x4 w/9" of lift and 33x12.5s. As soon as I put my 35s on, I might go with a dual setup. Most likely, I'll just fab the brackets myself.
I think you will be satisfied with any aftermarket except for the ProComp, either I got a lemon or it just didn't do sqwat. It was no different from the OEM one I had on there when I bought it.
I finally put a Rancho 5000 on and it works great. My buddy has the skyjacker with the same suspension set up and it feels the same, both are great.
