Hi guys,

what does it mean,what to do:,Stock distributor curved to BOSS 302 specs?

I'm assuming it's an old points type of distributor with centrifugal spark advance? If so, I'd assume that it probably has "lighter" springs to allow the centrifugal weights to swing out earlier to bring the advance in earlier. Or, maybe it's the other way around as the Boss was undoubtedly high compression, so to keep it from pinging, maybe it had heavier weights to prevent to advance from coming on too soon. Apparently it was a dual point distributor.
