need help intermediate steerin shaft...

hi
i need help to find an intermediate steering shaft...85 f150 ps
ford has one for 346.00 too rich for me.
all so checked parts guy same price...
i could go for one for under 200.00 - still high though
anyone got any leads, ideas?

If the flexible coupling at the bottom is the only problem, those can be bought separately at some auto parts stores. However, I can't tell from your description if that is the only problem. Would save you some cash if it is.
