We leave today for another camping trip and I can't wait to hitch up. Every time we go I can't help but think what a pleasure it is to have all the power and strength I need from my 250. It is an absolute dream to tow with! I don't tow every day like a lot of you guys, so when I get the opportunity I get pumped.
I used to do the same thing. At least until I realized how much fuel I would be burning to move my trailer through the wind. 10 MPG and $4.20/gal diesel kind of ruined that for me!

I hear that! Last camping trip I got 10.4 according to the computer. My 2010 F-150 got 8.2 before I cheated on her for the F-250.
I haven't pulled yet with mine, but its had upwards of a couple thousand lbs in the bed. Enjoy your tow. Just keep the tires on the ground and you'll be good.
By the way, a 36' TT with a 1/2 ton truck? Was your rear end bottomed out and max speed 50mph?
