Headlight wiring?
We did a frontend swap from a 95 to a 89 not long ago. We have been having trouble with the headlights. The lights work fine when they are on bright, But when switched to deam they'll go deam But they don't deam like they should. It's more like a dead battery or they get a heavy load on system. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? We are almost to the point of Splicing The 95 light wiring to the 89 to see if this will fix the troubles. any info will be a great help. Thanks.

The headlights only have 1 ground each, so that's not it. Which truck are the headlights installed on? If the wiring isn't ALREADY spliced in, how are they working? What switch are you using for hi/low?

We are Still using the 89 Wiring We haven't Even spliced The Wires to make for the Sep. turn Signal and Park lamp yet. We are to the point of Cutting The headlight wiring on the 89 off and Replacing it with the Wires from the 95. We've even Tried using the Bulbs from the 89 and the 95 to see if it'll do the trick. When we did the install We just disconcected The wires from The frontend and Laid them on top on the motor so no 10miles of wire chase back to firewall to disconect. got us stump
