So I have been flushing for three days in preparation to pull heads and install arp studs among other things. I started with installing fumoto valves for the block drains. Then put in restor and ran for an hour flushed at least 20+ times finally had fairly clean water but still a little sediment. So put in restore plus ran for an hour then started flushing. After at least 20 times (have lost count) still have yellow water and allot of sand and sediment coming out. My delta was 21* at beginning climbed to 32* after restor now is down to 14* so it has helped. I think I am just breaking loose crap out of the oil cooler and maybe radiator both of which will be replaced when I tear down the motor. So what I am asking is should I give up on the flushing and just pull the motor apart or keep flushing until clean? So for being long winded.

I would keep flushing until you have good clean water coming out if it were me.

+1 here to

If its that bad and you keep getting junk out of the system stick a hose in it and let it run for a few
I put the hose in where the thermistate went and reversed flush and also where the heater returns under the coolant bottleaand reverse flush the heater and also at the radiator upper hose inlet stuff the hose in every where
I bet your not getting to much out of the oil cooler especialy if its casting sand

I had the same problem with the yellow water
I had to pull out the thermisatate and run vc-9 in it for 1 hour set to high idel in driveway this part is a must
that took care off it 4th flush was as clear going in as coming out
I dont know whats in it for shure but it looks like casting sand
check it out theres more pics in my albums just click BLADE35

+2. Clean enough to drink, but don't.
