Oil additives are a joke.
If your oil is changed regularly, you have no need for anything else.
It's a wast of money,,,snake oil in a can. lol

Your 4.6 at 100,000 miles is just getting broke in.
You should have nothing to worry about,(unless the oil has never been changed) for another 200K miles.

Why people feel the need to add these junk additives to their engine is beyond me!! Lots of those products on the market are complete crap. There is only two products I would add and even then only on a dirty engine with no hope!! Those are AutoRx and Kreen but with good routine oil changes the inside of the engine should be very clean!!

the only thing i add and it's an old trick from my grandpa is a quart of tranny fluid every other too keep the valve guide seals in my early {95} 4.6 from getting brittle and breaking / cracking and the old girl start smoking on me . i quit and i dont think my car should start as it is only 16 ........................ read about the issues on another site with the early heads and figures it worked in my older ohv stuff why not here ???????????? it may seem weird though but both of my flatheads seem to like and prefer to have a quart of lucas put in with every oil change in the rotella ...............

Today's oils have all the additives and cleaners in them unlike the old days. I would add nothing to the oil in a late model engine. If anything, it will thicken the oil and cause cold start oiling issues to the heads, which is not good when the cams are up there.
Here is what a 4.6L head looks like after starving for oil for less than a minute!!

Should look more like this:
