Ok, so to make a complicated story short, i need to gain about 2" more clearance between the frame and the front leaf springs inorder to drop the steering box back down to its original location. Will a skyjacker 2" lift with rear add a leafs give me this?
Right now if i dropped the box back down the pitman arm (i think thats what its called, will hit the top of the leafs..... (all this due to the previous owner switching the front end out and not the steering box and pump and etc!)
So will a skyjacker 2" lift kit work?
Also, is it a 4" in front and a 2" in rear? On the web site it makes it sound like that....
What throws me off is down the page a little on the right side it lists whats included in the kit. Notice the front leafs sa 2- 4" lift. That makes me think its a 4" lift in the front?

I got a 4 inch skyjacker lift for my f-100 the kit a while back said it comes with blocks and u bolts and add a leafs but I only got the add a leafs. I called the company and the guy said that was all I needed to get the 4 inches of lift were the add a leafs. My truck was noticeably not level so I just got blocks and u bolts elsewhere skyjacker gave me the shaft so watch out.
I'm not sure what truck your putting them in you didnt say. I just bought a Skyjacker 4" lift for the 67-77's. Here they are I'm waiting for the bushings yet so I'm no help.
it went on a 75 f-100 and thats what I shoulda done was get the leaf spring packs instead of the blocks and u bolts and add a leaf kits I learned the hard way.

I have a 1974 F250 4X4. Im having a guy look at my truck tomorrow to see how to fix the steering prob.... And ill lift it anyway but it has to fit in my garage
Hey! Found out there isnt a steering prob. Yay! And now im going to have national spring make me new leafs for the front and idk what i want to do with the rear yet..... Im having a 38-40 gal gas tank made for the rear so im thinking a 2.5inch lift in front and a 3.5 in rear to level it out when the tank is full.
