88 injectors

How difficult a job is it to pull the injectors on a '88 F-150? How much experience would you reccomend having before attempting this and about how long will it take?

It's very easy. There are about 4 bolt's holding the fuel rail on. Just take them off and lift the fuel rail off of the injectors after you pull the wiring harness off of the injectors. Lift the fuel rail off carefully because there are o-rings on the top of the injectors. I'm assuming your not replacing all of them. Pull the injectors out of the intake manifold and lube the o-rings of the new injectors with motor oil before putting them in the intake manifold. Press the fuel rail back on the new injectors and put the bolts back in the fuel rail. Then put the wiring harness back on the injectors. It's very important that you mark or remember which connector came from which injector. It'll take an inexperienced mechanic probably 40 minutes to do it.
