Hello , my name is Don , I've just started a project thats been on the burner for awhile , I have a 61 Econoline PU , that I want to drive someday , I also have a 65 Van , complete stock , been sitting 30 years , that has everything the PU needs , motor trans ie: so i'm in the process of Lets Tear Down , as they say , I would like to know of places that I can go to get replacement parts , and anything else you guys would like to share ...dd...
PS: any parts from the van u might need just ask.......

Welcome.
The 65 has some difference from your 61. The doghouse is larger. The engine mounts are on a crossmember bar. Taller radiator. The tranny mount is different also.. Heater boxes on 65 are up on the wall and the 61 is on the floor.
Suppliers of parts. Macs, Dennis Carpenter. Others will mention some here also.
Have fun and learn. I sure have. But have not touched my truck in 13 years. Lots of other things to get out of my way first.
