Buzzing...starter pinion ???
Have this annoying buzzing noise when I first start (backing up makes noise worse). Somebody mentioned it may be the starter pinions not fully retracting????? Can anybody tell me more about this? Sound like a good diagnosis? To fix, do I just change the starter? Thanks

It does this only after starting?? or just in reverse, not mattering how long it been running??

does it do it if you drive forward after starting? so it is intermittent?
might be that there is a vacuum leak after start up ..briefly?
Is the noise coming from the engine or tranny or the dash?

check to see if your tranny mount is solid
