Thermo-nuclear weapons, keeping the peace through brutal fear of total annihilation,......... jet propulsion, space exploration, computers.

Largest tank battle in history?

I do not own a gun. Because I dont need one.

Why do you chose not to own a gun?

Same reason as you...I don't live a life style or live in a place that would require me to carry a gun at home. Besides, my wife would have shot me by now.

I certainly support everyones right to own a gun, do you?

Of course. I believe in the right to own a gun. Not any gun you want, but a gun nonetheless.

How do you feel about limiting what kinds of weapons someone may own?

I think some guns should not be able to available to the general public.

Do you or have you fired many weapons?

I have fired a rifle and a shotgun. Don't remember much more than that because I was young. 5 or 6 years ago.

You?

I've fired my fair share of all sized weapons 40mm machinegun to 9 mm and still do at work from time to time. Cheltenham — Federal Law Enforcement Training Center

Do you think ALL gun owners should have a STANDARD license to own? Not a fishing license over the internet but "X" hours of classroom and "X" hours of hands on with :X "hours or refresher ever "X" years?

I'm not qualified to make that kind of a statement because I know nothing about gun ownership.

What I think would be fair is a tiered system. Level 1 could be small fire arms such as hand guns hunting riffles etc. An easy license to obtain and maintain. Then a second level license for larger caliber weapons (to be determined by an expert. Not me) and a third level for the guns that when you see them you think "is that legal" like mini guns and .50 caliber snipers as there is no practical purpose to own one. With each increasing level of licensure there could me more requirements to acquire and maintain that license. Just my idea.

Does that sound fair?

I don't know if that is fair or not. I have mixed feelings. Either way I believe classroom/hands-on license should be mandatory for all gun owners.

I don't think I am going to be to popular on here today what do you think?

I doubt it. There are lots of gun enthusiasts. And more power to em. I just dont need to. I'm a person of necessity. If I dont have to worry about getting jumped by a gang banger, or a grizzly mauling me on my way to the crick I dont see the need to own a gun.

Its weird, cause I'm a country boy.

(PS: "Crick" was used for humor. I'm not calling gun owners hillbillies lol)

What are you doing awake at this hour? or is it morning where you are?

You're always popular in my book.

Favorite car or truck tires?

I am at work...gearing up.
Tires? I am running Goodyear Armor right now. I guess I don't really have a favorite. I like kind of agressive tires but not the skool bus sound rolling down the street.

Are you glad the bias ply tires are gone and off the streets now?
