JBG Tie rod ends

JBG Tie rod ends
I've searched but havent had any luck.............Has anyone used JBG tie rod ends, drag link and ball joints? The time has come to do mine on my 78 F150 4x4. The price is right on them but I'm wondering about the quality. Just wondering if its really worth the extra cash (about $200 difference on all the parts I need) to buy Moogs from the local parts house..............

Pep, I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but Moog ball joints have a lifetime guarentee. I know that it is hard to believe, since it is a moving and wearing part. But if you have your original reciept, you can exchange it for a new one. I have exchanged many at my local KOI auto parts (where they were purchased) for my 78 F250 4x4 and my sons 99 powerstroke. something you may want to consider. Hope this helps.

My Son seems to go through them with the larger tires on his PS. I figure if they are willing to replace them, I'll take advantage of the offer. I am in the same situation on my 78, I need tie rod ends and they aren't cheap, hard to justify spending for Moog on the 78 that dosen't get driven that often.

Yeah, I priced them too............about $100 cheaper on all of it than Moog. Im just needing to get my steering sorted out before I change jobs and end up driving the truck back and forth 10 hours one way every couple of weeks, and moneys tight right now. I normally dont go the "cheap route" on anything I repair unless its a beater or something Im going to resell. Just could use the couple of extra benjamins right now ya know????? I'll probably just go ahead with the Moogs and put it on the plastic and pay for it later but was just hoping someone had something good to say about the JBG stuff. I'm sure theirs come from the same manufacturer as the cheap variety that I could get at any of the major parts houses (o'reileys, autozone etc.)
