4" HOG Exhaust

Does anyone have experance with 4" HOG turbo back on a 6.0? Theres a local place selling them for $200.00 cash. Ive read that you have to port the firewall somtimes to get the downpipe to fit. I figure for 200 bucks it cant be to horrible. Has anyone heard of this?
Thanks

no, experience with th 4" HOG, i have the Diamond Eye 4" turbo back kit and the down pipe is a tight fit but once it is in there is room. The Bends in the tube make it hard to get in. I did not have to do anything with the firewall. I believe all self installation kits are plug n play where you should not have to do anything major.

Well I decided to get the HOG and try it. For $200 if nothing else it's a straight pipe. It's a real PITA to install I have to go get some more sawzall blades the one I had broke on me midway through. Ill post a vid when it's all done.

Well the new turboback is on. It was a PITA but its on and sounds amazing. Best $200.00 I've spent on the truck yet. I didn't have time to do a vid yet. But my truck is a early 04 with the 03 motor and turbo. 747 taking off is a total understatement. On the first test drive I looked at my wife and she had a huge grin in her face. She looked at me and asked "really" Lol it was priceless!

My truck was bone stock before. I know the downpipe I pulled off my truck had a little muffler in it right before the cat. Before I could barely great any whistle now its loud and clear from idle to about 2500 rpms. Everywhere I drove yesterday people we're staring at us like my truck was going to take off.

I got it at top it customz in murray just off 5400s. Ask for paul and the $200.00 cash deal.

Also mine did not rub on the firewall so I did not cut it. My down pipe was wrapped in some kind of thick foil. The baffle was about 18 to 24 inches above the cat.
