Georgia or bust

Just figured I would check in and get you a little road trip info.

I left North Pole Alaska on Friday the 15th towing all of our worldly possesions in a 36' X 8.5' enclosed trailer, bound for a small town in South Georgia. The truck and trailer wieghed in at 25,200 lbs.

So far we have made it to Regina Saskatoan Canada.....yea I know I spelled it wrong.

9.8 MPG over all so far. and the worst of the trip is done.

Engine light came on and I scanned a P0266. I goggled it and it is the number 2 injector. But the truck is running and pulling great and I am very pleased with nearly 10MPG. You all would be pleased to get that too if you had to pull a heavy trailer over the same roads I have since Friday.

I reset the code and it hasn't come back.

I didn't even realize you were heading to South Georgia for good. Now why is that Charlie Daniels song coming to my mind?

Your funny.

What do you make of my trouble code? p0266 It hasn't come back but now I wonder if I have an injector going bad.

I have to turn around (after getting my oil changed) and drive straight back to Alaska to get our camper......Air Force is paying (my retirement move)

If it doesn't come back I wouldn't worry about it. Could have been a glitch. You'r also giving the ole girl a good work out. Could have just been a hick up.

I agree. If the injector or some other gremlin is popping up, it would come back even it's it's sporadic.

Today ran through Iowa, N. and S Dakota.....We are in Kansas City now. Our waitress told us it was 106' out there.

Truck really did great. EOT reached 230 a bunch of times and the ECT reached 222'. clutch fan comes on and cools them right down.

Trans reached 190' I think the BIG MAG HY TEC transpan really helped my trans temp

After I got out of the truck today in the heat (I was wondering if my A/C wasn't up to snuff)

Then the heat hit me I was ready to turn around and pull it all right back to Alaska!!!
