It was pretty exhausting since we did it all in just a day, but we had a great time. That chevy was the only truck I saw get stuck all day long. Everyone was rolling along no problem.
I got a stock rig so not much wheeling for me. How is the camping situation up there? Can you just camp wherever or is there a camp ground with hookups? I'd like to stay atleast a weekend since I'm coming from Cincy.

Silver Lake State Park is on Silver Lake right across from the dunes. That's where most people seem to stay, but there are also higher-end RV parks to stay in too.

We stayed at Silver Creek for a week last year. If you're not averse to spending a bit more, I highly recommend it. Great facilities, full hookups, ultra-clean campsites and only a mile away from the dunes.

Had an awesome time! Yea I thought I heard something banging around under there, and noticed the pipe hanging down after I pulled the truck out. Luckily I had a couple old hangers in my toolbox. I put one on and kept on riding
