T98 transmission question
Hello im new to the forum. i have a 61' f250 pickup and was wondering what speeds to expect out of the T98 transmission on the freeway?

the transmission wouldn't matter much here...it'd be your rear-end gearing, and how much RPM you can turn.

Final drive is one to one, just like every other non overdrive trans.
Engine RPM and Speed are determined by the rear end ratio and tire size.

Be prepared to crawl! I have the same trans with a Dana 60 4;10 I am turning close to 3 grand to run at 65.. so you will be turning probably just over 3 grand to do 65

Your combo gives you 22 mph per 1000 rpms in 4th.
