Good point... Looks to me you would have to remove the seat.

I need to remove the spare in Chelsea X, its not doing a damn thing back there when she is running 37's.

 

How easily does the seat remove? I remove my 3rd row regularly, hopefully it's as easy as removing that.

 

what is the seat in the picture out of. I bought a 3rd row out of suburban because it has seatbelts intergraded in to seat, but that one looks much nicer

 

Looks like it came out of an excursion.

 

I have 7 kiddos, and it is an absolute must. I was very skeptical, but had it DOT inspected. They were more interested in how it was mounted, and the seat belts. I never knew to ask about crumple zones, Thanks bud for making me worry.

 

There was a link at the start of the thread to the manufacturer, littleseats or something. It was aftermarket from what I gathered but the company looks to have gone out of business as their site no longer works.

 

Couldn't you just use a stock 3rd row seat, flip it around and fab the mounts?
