Intake Manifold

I have an 88 F250 XLT Lariat extended cab with a 7.5 460 EFI. Does anyone know if I can put an 86 or 87 intake manifold on my 88.

What engine is it?

If it's a 4.9, then yes. I am putting '92 intake and exhaust manifolds on my '90. They are identical.

I don't know about any others, so I will not try to answer for them.

if both engines are fuel injected,the parts should swap,i don't know much about 460's so i don't know when the cut off for date for fuel injection/carbed was but I do know the carbed/FI intake/heads/exhaust parts are not interchangeable.

The EFI 460 uses different heads than the carbed versions and the intakes do not interchange between them.. port offset is different.

You can buy a set of adapter plates to use a carburetor manifold on EFI heads (AP-37)

Or you can buy an adapter plate to put a Holley squarebore carb on your EFI lower intake. (CS460-EFI)
