please help

ok i have a 64 f-100
i just put a new 223 in it and i got it all adjusted right i guess
but anyway i started it and drove it once it was fine and then i
take it out about 10 min after first drive and it dies
now every time i start it just dies no idle at all.
can anyone give me some help like i said it was all good first ride
then to no idle at all

please help

The first thing I would check for is vacuum leaks. Maybe a hose came off or something simple like that.

Could be that your points slipped and now don't open.

also, check the basics like the other guys said- are you using points? ive seen them back off, or the cheap sets wear out fast-make sure you use a touch of cam lube on the points contact foot. also, make sure the distrivutor didnt walk around on you. just start from scratch on the tuning and see what happens. good luck!
