53 Flathead Question
hello all,
i have a 53 EAB flathead and a 8RT flathead, and i have a few questions about these engines. first, what did these engines come out of? (i.e. car truck parcel delevery) second, does anyone have the general engine repair specs that appears at the front of the shop manual. i have the 49 to 52 shop manual for refrence and how to info, but i need the technical stuff like bearing measurements so i can tell if i need new bearings and such.

EAB was 52/53 car. 8RT was 48-53 truck - generally but that statement is good for an argument.
The shop manual should have the specs - look in the back, just before the 52 supplement starts.
