Congrats on the new truck! So you find the new headlights to be superior to the 05? That is unreal since everybody I have talked to thinks they are far less adequate. I even had a set of Eagle Eyes Harley Edition lights in my 06 with the infamous annoying bright spot in the right light and I still don't like the lights on the 11.

Drive her a few more weeks at night and see if your opinion is the same.

Congrat's and great looking truck! It's identical to mine. If you do any kind of towing with it, you will smile all the way. Very strong, smooth and quiet. Good luck with it!

Congratulations, John! It's a great looking truck!

I'd normally suggest spending some time in the tech folder to get to know some of the specifics, but I'm sure you did that months ago. For the most part these new engines seem to be doing much better than the previous Navistar engines did at launch. When I got mine I sort of missed the chaotic idle noise, but I grew to really love the refinement!

Well, I've noticed a bit more of a difference now. Driving it without the fog lights on, I think they may be about the same as my '05. With the fog lights on, I think they're a little better. I believe part of it is due to the outward placement of the fog lights on this one versus my old truck.

That aside, I'm loving this truck!!!

Thanks.

So far, I love the moonroof. That's the one option I didn't order on my '05 that I had really wanted at the time. Got it this time and I'm glad I did.

Made the same trade-up myself in April and it's been fantastic! You'll really notice a huge difference when you tow. The 6.7 is a towing beast.

Congratulations!

nice looking truck, I've never been into white, but that combo looks great.
I loved my 05. Traded it in on an 08 and thought WOW what a difference. Traded the 08 in on the 11, and WOW doesn't come close to covering it.

Thanks folks!

Scott, you're right. I've been floating around in this forum leading up to buying this truck and you folks are great!

Now, I just need to find the write-up on BSEG removal.

Geez, I love this truck!

Very nice truck indeed!! I am looking at pretty much the same exact setup. I was leaning more toward the F250 but may end up getting the F350 instead.

Love the color combination. How does the Oxford White compare to the White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat?

Thank you!

To be honest, I was torn between the two. One truck I was looking at was solid White Platinum and looked great. It had the chrome package and black leather. Then I found this one and loved it. I like the two-tone combination with the Adobe on the bottom / fender flares. When it came down to it, my truck had the options I wanted whereas the solid colored truck had a few I didn't care for and lacked some I wanted.

That said, If I'd found what I wanted in the White Platinum two-tone, I'd have bought it. I really like both colors. The only thing that concerned me was the potential difficulty of matching the White Platinum if (God forbid) the truck got damaged. The only other downside to the White Platinum is that it's a $495 option, but compared to the prices of these trucks, it's just a drop in the bucket.

As far as the 250 / 350 goes, I had a 250 prior to this and loved it. But, this 350 rides better than it did and has a higher "rated" capacity. Since we're looking at a potential fifth wheel purchase in the next couple of years, I went ahead and bought a 350 this time.
