OK Here is my air chamber /dryer setup i came up with to help me sandblast. Havn't had time to try it out but i don't have any leaks in my welding but then again i have never had a leak in my 27 years of welding. But get this There is a 1/2 black iron 90 at the bottom and the first one i put on had a hole in it on the seam. Cheap *** fittings made in mexico or china. OMG that made me mad.
So, the pipe in the metal cylinder extends to the bottom? And, it's used as a cooling chamber? I put up about 30' of copper pipe before my water separator to cool the air. It works OK. What I really want to do is to splice in a coil of copper and then place that coil into a 5 gallon bucket that I can fill with water (and ice??) to condense the water before it hits the separator. I think it would work pretty well, but I'm reluctant to add more tubing as I'm afraid it might mess up the air-flow. What do you think?
sounds like you trying to build a STILL to me. LOL LOL Only thing you leftout was corn. Like my daddy use to say more copper the better. If you add more copper than someone will break in and steal it all. Thats like leaving money just laying around. But REALLY if you put it on ice thats just going to make water. We both have like 99% humitity down here in the south. It has rained alday here so no work got done 2day .
