errrr damn boost gauge!!

ok so still fighting this boost gauge!! took line off and pluged the end no leaks.... the gauge worked one or two times... lol... ok so if you un hook map sen what should happen other than cel comeing on??? truck runs the same with or with out it hooked up... just a cel when un hooked..... any thoughts guys?? junk mad sen or junk gauge or is the heat got me and iam over looking some thing???

leave the map sensor hooked up, but a "T" in the line going to it with the boost gauge hooked up to one leg of the "T".

this should give you a working boost gauge, and keep the CEL off.

yeah i have that.. but no boost on the gauge... it worked after i hooked it up now nothing... going to try and put some air to the gauge and see if its jacked.... i blew on one end and seams to be no leacks any where may be a bad gauge??

the line going from the airbox to the gauge on my 88 is pinched and works when it wants to.
i just put up with it, i will fix it when i change the cab.

Mine doesn't show boost until I get on it, then it works perfectly. Do you got a buddy nearby with another gauge you can swap out?

no they all have gassers... i think its the gauge... it worked be for when i git on it.. showed 28 lbs of boost.. came home let it set went out drove it and nothing
