Im looking for a 1997 f2or350 gas reg cab 4x4 with no rust. anyone know of one? I would like the red/white two tone but am not that picky. In Massachusetts but will travel.

I have a 1997 F250 XLT 4X4 that I am getting ready to sell.

THE GOOD: It has 124K miles and I am the 2nd owner. I just installed a new front windshield, a new A/C compressor (and other related parts), flushed the transmission with new internal filter, new transmission pan, and gasket, and installed new Mile Marker SS manual hubs. When I purchased the truck 5 years ago, I installed a Optima red top battery, new Denso spark plugs, Ford Racing spark plug wires, new MotorCraft distributor rotor and cap, new high volume water pump, new serpentine belt, new belt tensioner and other pullies, new PowerMaster 200 amp alternator, new fuel pump (front tank), K&N CIA kit, and new cat-back exhaust.

THE BAD: Although the truck is rust-free and has never been wrecked, the dealership that sold the truck to me painted the upper white portion of the truck. That white paint is now peeling and needs to be repainted. The grey painted portion and down is the original OEM paint.

THE UGLY: Although the truck is in excellent mechanical condition, I think that it may have an exhaust manifold leak that will need to be fixed.

Here are pics that I took a few years ago. With the exception of the peeling white paint, nothing is different now.

I paid $10,600 plus taxes for the truck when it had 98K miles. I have invested more than $4K in upgrades and repairs. I know, I paid too much for the truck but I always wanted the OBS Heavy Duty truck. It has the 5.8L V8, auto, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, tilt, cruise, 40/20/40 seats, AM/FM cassette radio, manual transfer case, dual fuel tanks, and 3.73 gears.

Thanks! It is a nice truck and was difficult to find... I spend three years looking for one that was not "trashed" and "rust-free." That's why I paid so much for it back in 2006.
