Tuning Modules

Just out of curiosity, is there anywhere that you can buy a computer program to load onto a laptop and then plug the laptop into your truck and do just as much with that as the tuning modules. Somebody has to have something like that. Any informative people please leave some feedback on this topic

The closest thing I've heard to that is the setup a friend of mine has. He set himself up as a chip distributor, and got the program for reflashing chips downloaded into his laptop. Now, he can reflash a chip with his laptop while in a remote location, giving him multiple options for programs, but it doesn't connect directly to the pcm or the diagnostic port.

Nothing out there for the Powerstroke.... at least not for the average Joe. Lots of packages for EEC-IV computers but you've got to know what you're doing.
