blazer forums suck....i know you guys can help me
ok sorry this is not ford problem today, so thought this is the appropriate place to ask, but 97 blazer 4.3 vortec....no *****, womp on the pedal and she spits, sputters n lurks around, now in park, i can rev it and sounds beautiful, and it drives ok, when i baby the petal, i can creep to driving speed, lol but deff cant get on the highway w/o being plowed over by a semi....so i changed the fuel filter........and no help, no check engine lights on, im thinking a clogged catolitic converter?????? whats everyones ideas on what it could be, and no i didnt test fuel pressure, and no i didnt have a compression test done...dont have time or money for that, just want to wing it and hope i solve the problem, i have run seafoam through the tank, no help (so i dont think its clogged injectors) and i havent changed plugs n wires yet (gotta change the plugs through the front wheel wells (chevys.......) but anyone have any suggestions?

That's not the only place the standard greeting is telling the new member to search for it.
FTE generally doesn't have that happen, but man, go down to the FE or 335 forums and count the threads asking how to make a 351m or 360 into something other than a boat anchor.....
Anyway, good luck with your Chevalay, the fuel pressure sounds like the thing to check. Your issue is similar to a fuel problem I once had.
