when my truck had leaky injector orings it would buck and miss shift wrong wouldnt Idel smooth and everything untill it was warm and they sealed
oh ya I was also making oil thats what tipped me off does your oil smell like diesel
I reringed all injectors and problem solved
didnt you rering injects when you did the work arps and stuff
use rev-x its a sticktion problem or ipr but i bet stiction. if i were you pull all 8 and send them to warren diesel and he can make them pretty much brand new!!!
Well, I was roaming my local craigslist a guy has a set of 8 injectors for $150/ per injector brand new.
1200$ for a set of new injectors seems pretty fair.
Even though I recently replaced 3 not to long ago.
I think I'm going to do a few things to my truck. To really ensure reliability.
Stc fitting. Updated stand pipes/dummy plugs, and check out my up pipe. And go ahead and re o ring my injectors.
The truck runs excellent warmed up. And to be homest when I first start out driving it was great, once the temp gauge gets about half way up to the normal operating temp mark is when it goes down hill until it warms up completely
take those new ones and send them to warren diesel. i promise you wont regret it. get you some 155cc bodies with stock nossles. a buddy of mine just did and fuel mileage and power went up!! and it only cost him 450 to get done! or pull old ones and do it. he has new nossles and plungers and stuff at his shop. he cleans every spool valve and everything!!! great guy to deal with
