I just tried benchpressing that thing into place by myself. Go it up there then decided better against that. It's back on the floor now waiting forsome help from someone.

Got it in a couple days ago and it's working perfect now. The transfer case is much nicer too. Easier to shift and quieter. I had forgotten how nice these transmissions shifted when everything was right in it. Also no more gear rattle from the clutch. I'm sure that was mostly caused by the clearance on the synchros being way too much. I can downshift and upshift easily now with no grinding I love it. Oh, I put new detent springs in too and new springs on the synchros. MUCH nicer!! The shifter used to wiggle around when driving. NOT any more!
