code 299

I have a 06 f 350 with a 6.0 diesel and I got a check engine light up on the dash. I ran it through a scanner and a code 299 comes up. Engine was running good and no apparent changes in the performance of the truck. I reset the computer and the light stayed off for 1800 miles. I towed a trailer from pa. to Wisconsin and back with no problems. I started it up today and the light came back on with the same 299 code. Any ideas before I reset it again? Thanks for any help!!! I'm new to this site and I think its great

you probably just need to clean the turbo the veins could be sticky also clean,ebp,map sensors
