Question ???Headers???

I have a 1968 F100 that came with a 240 CID. I had another 68 with a 360. Took out the 240 had about $2,400 worth done to the 360 that is now a 390. The chassis on the truck with the 240 was in alot better shape than the other so I am restoring it. Both trucks had 3 spd. man. and I want an auto so I also purchased a C6. I mated the 390 to the C6 and installed in the truck from which the 240 came and it slid right in no problem with motor mounts or anything. Now for some numbers, the block has the ID C7ME-A which I know to be 1967 and the heads were replaced by the engine builders with D2TEAA which I know to be 1972. I am converting it from manual to power steering and power or power assist brakes of which I already have installed the steering gear box and the new column. Now I have pretty tight clearances on both sides of my engine and want to run headers. I have tried the Dynomax and the FlowTech and neither of them work without modification, and I do not want to have to do that. The auto parts store has ordered me a set of Hooker 6903 to see if they will fit but I am skeptical about any long headers fitting. Can anyone tell me what I can do here? Would shorty's solve my problem? If so, please don't just tell me the name of the manufacturer of such, please give me part numbers as well because most of the manufacturer web sites only display a generic header for a picture not what you are actually purchasing. I hate to be so lengthy, but so many of you ask so many questions after a post that I am trying to cover all the bases in this one. Also note that this is a 4x2 short bed fleetside. I will try to post some pictures later if I can figure out how. One more thing to note is that the power steering gear box has also limited my space for headers. I do not want to get them too close and melt my worm gear. Thanks for any and all help.

I think Hooker or Hedman 89100's will fit as long as you are mounted with stock engine mounts.--pat
