MISSING IN GEAR
First off my E40D is not long for this world, so that might have something to do with this problem. When im sitting at say a light with the truck in gear and my foot on the brake, the truck makes this very sharp 150-250 rpm drop then idls fine. It will do this 3 or 4 times whils sitting at a light. It doesn't seam to run bad except for the trany slipping, and it dosen't do it with the truck in neutral or park. I just want to know if it was something vacumm like or maybe the converter locking and unlocking.
I don't realt thing it is ignition. but i could be wrong.
Just don't wana drop a grand into the new 5 speed if the motor is crapping out too.
