AHHHHHHHH! Fortunately I am not going for show quality. Having a rat rod is find with me for a couple years as long as I can drive. But these LMC parts are killing me. The rubber for the windshield is not a good fit. The anti-rattle doesn't want to fit right. And last night I was putting on mirrors I bought and they don't want to fit where they're supposed to without the love of a hammer. Chrome + hammer = not a good look. Plus one was way off from fitting that it broke the bottom part of it. Luckily the mirror still stays where it needs to be. But for $30 a piece, I'm pissed about it.
I thought I was fortunate that I could drive 30 minutes and pick up any part I needed for my truck. But I'm done with LMC.
Was the windshield rubber made in Thailand? I think my front or rear windshield was from LMC and was made there, but it fit like a glove. Could your cab be tweaked?
i've bought most of my parts from LMC and classic haulers. i find somethings cheaper lmc, others classic haulers. the quality seems the same, no real complaints yet. love bebops for fiberglass. i think you have to shop around.
I got my windshield and back glass rubber from LMC. Both fit fine. I also got some rear bumper brackets which were much cheaper than anyone else was selling them for that turned out nice.
I'm not sure where they were made. I didn't really look. I test fitted the windshield rubber and it fit just fine. But when I put the window in there is a gap between the rubber and the body. I'm not sure if the body is tweaked a little. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I doubt it. There isn't really any damage on the body except for the occasional rust spot.
