Rebuilding E40D
Ok,need help! have 97 F250HD T.Diesel(automatic). Looking for a trans shop that (1). Is a cristian(a real one). 2. Honost, reputable, will stand behind his word and work. 3. Has references he is willing to share in regards to other customers that can vouch for the work this shop did for them, anywhere from knoxville to Johnson city. Desire input from anyone that can point me to a shop to have my trans rebuilt. Do not want OEM. Jasper for example claims they make 21-22 improvements to E40D to include drilling holes in various locations to improve fluid flow and volume. Want a "Prescision" torq.converter 13", toriington bearing vs thrust washers, kevlar clutch packs for ea gear, kevlar presure plates or friction plates in t.converter, want lock up at 12-1400 RPM, want a rebuild that will answer the call to 7 ton pulls. If anyone has a recommendation to a shop that knows what they are doing I would be gratefull for your input. Thank You.
