5.4 Lt plug problems.

5.4 Lt plug problems.
Been doing some research, found one problem. That the Plugs blow out or brake on the older 5.4 Lt. Is this a big problem, I hate to buy a used truck that I cannot replace the plugs?

It happens. the 97-02 and early 03's only have like 4 threads in the aluminum head. The two main causes of the plugs ejecting themselves from the heads are not being tight enough and they back out and pull the top threads out, OR, they are overtightened which pulls the threads out of the head.
Of the millions of trucks out there, it is a small percentage that actually fail.
