Thanks for all the advice looks like the next logical step is to pull the valve covers atleast the drivers side first Ill let u know on the progress alittle later.
I pulled the drivers side valve cover and found that the connector was loose. I pushed it back together ran a buzz test and everything sounded fine. Picked up the new retainer clip from ford part # 1C3Z-14A163-AA put everything back together and truck seems to be running great. Thanks again for all the help.
The Ford clips have been known to come loose.. next time, use the 50 cent method..
Glad you got her fixed..!! (when you have time, pull the passenger side and insert the modified quarter in the connector....it is probably loose also. mine was)
