Cool 90 ,2.9 bronco 2 crazy electrical issues

1990 bronco 2 is acting weird... It started acting crazy the truck wouldnt turn over so i noticed when i pushed the clutch and the gas pedal it crunk up... So i adjusted the idle screw and it will crank up every time.. But when the truck is not running and ignition on u push the gas pedal and the themp guage moves some... And anything u do like turn signals ac, lights makes the guages jump... Sometimes the battery light comes one but the alt output is great and bat vol is great... And sometimes driving down the road all the guages r just moving around... Please help my truck rpm is way to high but this is the only way it will start without having to push the gas down to start it.. And when i say that i mean just to get it to turn over

seems like you may have some mischevious wiring gremlins playing pranks with you there. maybe check yr fuse box, circuit breakers, all the ground wires, wiring harnesses for cracked/shorting wires against each other. maybe even trace wires using a test light/meters. get a good schematic,, Helms is a good book. Or AZ, etc can print you one or get it off the web from there web-sites. these things take a long time to figure out. keep at it. maybe install battery cut-off switch in case it gets too bad,, saves un-doing the clam ps with a wrench if theres burning wires. I got 2 on my battery,,AZ OReilly's, NAPA, etc have them. good luck,, we gots faith in ya buddy.
