I was thinking of adding a second battery, preferably a deep cycle battery to power the entertainment unit. We do a lot of traveling for the kids sports and spend a lot of time in the car between games and I am getting tired of running the engine to do this.
If nothing else, you could put it in the back. I'm sure they make a relocating kit for excursions. Or you could make your own if you can find some battery cables long enough.

On mine, I remember some kind of canister being there. I don't remember what it is.
It'll fit in the stock position (with some cutting) or on each side like the diesels, just need to move the gas canister lower on the inner plastic wheel well.
Thanks for the pics! THis is going to help a lot. Did you need to get a bigger alternator or can you rewire the stock to accommodate the second battery?
If so what ampage would you use?
Sorry for all the questions, I really appreciate the help.
