Loses spark
I have a 1995 F-350 with a 7.5(460) auto that loses spark. The truck has done this several times now, and left me stranded for the first time in 16 years( 420,000 miles). I changed the coil and ignition module, which I thought had solved the problem, until she did it again. What else can I check?

PIP sensor inside the distributor. Very common problem on these trucks. Does the truck have a tachometer? When there is no spark, does the tach not register anything? Another common test for the loss of the PIP signal.
