e99 is the truck. Just pressurized the system yesterday afternoon. Today, go to take off in this so called hot weather in WA and there is no cool air. Looked for leaks from the freon and did not see any. Checked the condensor, compressor, and all the other fittings for leaks. Didn't see any. Its got to be a slow leak somewhere. Is there a way to find the leak like the dye and black light set up or S.O.L.?
was never a fan of stop leak in an a/c system, but these work. depending on the leak, it could take more than one can. it is still cheaper than freon & and a new dryer, and those are needed every time you tear into the system. chasing a freon leak is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
