How to get trim off?

I know this has been posted up many times before, but I searched and found squat...

Anyone want to point me to another thread or give me a quick demo?

Which trim, and where? There's a different method for each type of trim, and it can vary depending on where it is on the truck. For instance, the trim around the windshield requires a special tool to remove without damage, while some of the side trim just pops off but may have 1 or 2 clips that screw/bolt into place. Other side trim may be completely bolted on, like the piece on the lower edge of the optional bedside toolbox and the wheel arch trim.

Guess I could have specified a bit more

My race-track trim. I want to get it off my bed and save it for the time being. It'll eventually get replaced, but right now it's gotta come off so I can strip down my box and get at my frame.

All I want to know right now is how to get my race-track trim off.

Pull out your LMC catalog and take a look at the moulding clips. Some require pushing the moulding down to compress the springy arm, some can be undone by sliding the moulding forward to unhook the plastic moulding from the rivet, and some can be unbolted by removing the threaded nut (like used on an emblem).

Yeah, it's a PITA.
