Long story short...went up north, got stuck in the new 2011 Fx4. Heard some noise driving on normal road, looked and found this. I have no idea where it goes, or what it does, and really don't want to go to the dealer, yet again.
Here are some pictures. Im in the driverside wheel well, and it was rubbing on the front pumpkin driveshaft when I found it.
Block heater line stuffdeer. Same thing happened to
my truck. Found it wearing on the drive shaft. Dealer ordered
and installed a new one and the mechanic rigged a clip to
keep it in place. Get under the truck and you will see where
it plugs in.
