Modine 2306?

My truck's radiator is finally finished. I found a new one last evening, a Modine 2306. Modine's not a company any more, so I'm curious if this is NOS. It says the header to header distance (height) on this one is 24+ inches, which is about 5" more than the one I've got. also says it is 4-row. I see another one listed, a VistaPro 463002, 3-row, which has the correct 19+" header distance. Here/s the question. It looks like the radiator might fit in my truck but just hang down a little at the bottom (about 5 inches), but can the transmission lines be made to work?? I assume the lower radiator hose might be different too??

Modines were good radiators. I have one in my '77 been there since 87. Never a leak.

If width is right, if I could see the mounting bolts working, if the necks are near right where I could use it .... I would.

4 rows and 5" deeper shouldn't hurt. Transmission lines are 5/16 and easy to plumb near anywhere.

I checked and Amazon has 1 in stock, says it'll fit a '77 F150 with 6.6 liter (400). $115.96 and free super saver shipping?

When I upgraded in '87, I went up to 3 or 4 row. Might be same?

5 inches to me is more than a little. I imagine you could persuade your tranny lines fit..... but the rad hose might be a pain. As for it being NOS I have no clue. Mabye NumberDummy would know...

Thumbs up

Yeah, 5" is a lot when it won't fit.

Mine is a 4x4, nothing underneath. I recall some were deeper than others. To be sure, measure and measure again .... but transmission lines are the easiest consideration.
